We don’t understand it. Claire doesn’t understand it. For nearly a year, this beautiful girl has watched others walk out of the shelter with families, while she stays behind. She’s doing her best to stay hopeful, but it’s hard when she feels overlooked again and again.

Claire is a wonderful dog with so much love to give, but we know her barking in the kennel can make people pass her by. What they don’t see is the gentle, playful, affectionate dog she becomes once she’s out of that space. She just needs someone to see beyond her stress in the shelter and give her a chance.
