Joanie’s Gotcha Day

It was one year ago today that we adopted our Joanie. Just wanted to update you on our girl.
It has been a delight having her in our family. Although we still have some aggressive issues, they have improved since we first got her. When my daughter brought her dog home, we were very apprehensive, but with time and patience they have become friends and enjoy playing together.

In November, our Joanie got hit by a car. We were devastated when the vet said her leg couldn’t be saved. But she has recovered and is doing remarkably well as a Tri-pawed dog. And she can still run and rough-house with her “sister” Luna! So thank you for letting us have the opportunity to have Joanie join our family.
