When hurricane Maria devastated Puerto Rico, HSUS stepped in immediately to help get shelter animals off the island so they could be cared for and find homes.  St Huberts up in North Jersey is a hub for these animals and reached out to us to see if we could help.  So we took in 4 cuties and we cant wait to find them a home that will love them forever!

Ricky Martin is about a year old.  He is a hound mix….actually looks a little like a Pharaoh Hound or Basenji with those ears!   This boy is incredibly shy and will need a home with a whole lot of patience to help him come around.   Potential adopters should have the time and patience to properly raise and train a dog like this.   They need to be housebroken, obedience trained and will benefit from a home where someone is around a good part of the day.
