Fleetwood now Elvis
I adopted Fleetwood, now Elvis, on August 30, 2022. He could not be more perfect. After hiding for 5 minutes his curiosity got the better of him, and he was out and about exploring his room. I spent a lot of time with him the first week reading in his room with him while he cuddled with me. After a week and a wellness visit to the vet he was ready to meet my dogs and explore the rest of the house. My dogs accepted him by showing little interest. Occasionally my little poodle chases him, but it’s a game. He easily evades her. His favorite activity is laying on my lap. He sleeps on the bed as close to me as he can get sharing space with my two little dogs. He has no vices. He uses his scratching post, doesn’t dig piles of litter out of the box, doesn’t get up on the table or counters, and doesn’t beg for food at the table. Give him a good windowsill, and he is entertained till it’s time to lay across my lap again. I don’t know what his life was like for his first few years, but he must have had a loving home. Whatever happened is in the rear view mirror. He is in his forever home now.
