  July 18th, 2008 - Sam’s Progress

Sam received full clearance for running, playing and for adoption from the veterinarian ! He is a wonderful dog and is quite the social butterfly. At a recent birthday get-together, Sam greeted everyone at the door, sat himself in the middle of the room and thought that the party was for him!

Sam listens and learns quickly. He enjoys playing with toys rolled up on his back. He adores other dogs.

The veterinarian was clear that Sam will enjoy a full quality of life. He could be a hiking dog or a jogging partner. Yes, really.

This sweet boy has a bright future thanks to all of you who support the shelter and especially those that made a special donation for his surgery. You have made all the difference in the world to this beautiful boy.

Sam is neutered and up to date on shots. He weighed 54 lbs at his last vet visit. He is an absolute joy that has all the wonderful qualities of a young adult dog – housetrained, no chewing & composed coupled with playful bursts of exuberance.

Sam runs and plays with other dogs and enjoys walks around the neighborhood. We will continue to rebuild his strength and stamina while awaiting applications for a forever home.

It will be very difficult to let him go. Thank you, again, for your support and caring. Sam gives you all his paw.
